On November 9, 2024, the “Speak to Word” workshop took place at the Humanities Hall, Thủ Đức campus, USSH, VNU-HCM. This event was designed to enhance students’ communication skills through practical methods and interactive exercises.
The workshop featured guest speaker M.A. Nguyễn Anh Khoa, an expert in effective communication, and was hosted by MC Thanh Trâm. With engaging delivery and highly applicable activities, the event helped participants gain deeper insights into articulating ideas confidently and persuasively.
Key topics covered in the workshop included:
- Strategies to build and maintain confidence in communication.
- Techniques for clear and impactful verbal expression.
- Managing body language and tone of voice in public speaking.
- Practical exercises on argumentation and handling difficult communication situations.
Although the workshop concluded earlier than planned due to unforeseen circumstances, the valuable knowledge and hands-on practice provided participants with essential tools to improve their communication skills in academic and professional settings.
