|RECAP WORKSHOP INSIDE OUT

This morning, August 27, 2025, the Inside Out – Emotional Pieces workshop took place successfully. The event is part of the Mental High project series, aiming to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health issues among students, staff, and lecturers at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. It was organized by the Institute of Clinical Research on Society, Psychology and Education in collaboration with the MindLife Club.

✨ With heartfelt sharing from speaker M.A. Duong Thi Hoai, the workshop opened a warm space where everyone could pause, reflect, and better understand their own emotions.

“How are you feeling?”—a question that may sound simple, yet many times we find it difficult to describe what we are truly feeling inside. During the session, participants explored what emotions are, how to provide “first aid” for emotions, and how to recognize and regulate them.

🌱 Each of us may carry emotional scars from the past. They shape how we react to our environment and to the people around us. But by learning “emotional first aid,” we can treat ourselves with more gentleness and build a healthier life.

💖 This morning ended with many reflections and positive energy, serving as a stepping stone for all of us to listen to, understand, and walk alongside our emotions. Every feeling carries a hidden need and a message. They all have meaning—so let’s be gentle with our emotions and pay attention to the messages they want to send to each of us.
