With the support of the MentalHigh project (Enhancing mental health capacity in higher education institutions in Southeast Asia), the University Union of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) successfully organized a trade union professional training session focusing on integrating skills to support mental health for lecturers and union members. The training focused on practical content such as identifying signs of work stress, basic psychological support techniques, organizing stress-reducing welfare activities, building a healthy work environment, and sharing experiences in caring for mental well-being. This helped trade union officials improve their capacity to represent and protect the rights of union members, contributing to reducing teaching and research pressure, strengthening community cohesion, and improving work efficiency in the context of international integration at TUAF. During the training, trade union officials from various units shared their experiences in organizing activities to support lecturers and employees in reducing work stress.
