On December 20, 2025, students at the University of Education had a meaningful workshop with speaker Vu Hong Van to decipher the secrets behind sleep. Sleep is not just rest; it’s also a process of “healing” the mind and regenerating energy that we often unintentionally miss in the hectic pace of studying and working.
The workshop focused on sharing fascinating information about sleep:
– What is sleep? What is the role of sleep?
– Sleep cycles? Factors affecting sleep?
-How should we take care of our sleep?

This is a photo of the speaker discussing with students about “What is the role of sleep?”

And here’s a photo capturing the moment when the speaker asked the students, “What can we do to take care of our sleep?” The question received many raised hands from the students.
After 1 hour and 30 minutes, the workshop “Why Do We Need to Sleep?” officially concluded. The speaker’s sharing, both academic and relatable, helped participants understand what sleep is, what constitutes good sleep, and how to improve sleep. The discussion was very lively, showing that sleep is a topic of great interest to many students at the university.
