Royal University of Phnom Penh successfully conducted 5th Capacity Building Workshop (CBW) on “Mental Health Capacity Building Project in Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia and Working with Family on Counseling and Therapy with Adolescents”

In the morning of 14th February 2026, Royal University of Phnom Penh successfully organized the Capacity Building Workshop on  “Mental Health Capacity Building Project in Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia and Working with Family on Counseling and Therapy with Adolescents” within the framework of the MentalHigh Project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union for the period 2023-2026.

The 5th CBW was organized at Royal University of Phnom Penh, with the participation of 52  participants, including RUPP staff and representatives from various institutions and hopital. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the participants to the “MentalHigh Project” the “Digital Platform” which includes MoodCare and ShiningMind app and how to work with family to counseling and therapy with adolescents to be good mental health.

Assoc. Prof. Kao Sovandara, Psychology Master Program Operator and Mentalhigh project member of Royal University of Phnom Penh present about MentalHigh project and Digital Platform includes MoodCare and ShiningMind App.

Prof. Dr. Bernhild, Professor at Tabor Protestant University Marburg, Germany, present about the adolescents issue, family system therapy, family dynamic and how to support adolescents with mental health problem and the role of university and family.
