Prioritize Mental Health at Workplace

On 14th February 2025, at National Institute of Education, the Building Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia, MentalHigh project is honored and delighted to organize a capacity workshop on “Prioritize Mental Health at Workplace.” The workshop is presided over by His Excellency Dr. Sieng Sovanna, Director of the National Institute of Education, and is attended by the Deputy Directors, heads of department, and senior officials from the National Institute of Education, as well as directors and deputy directors of postgraduate institutions, deans and deputy deans of teacher training colleges, heads and deputy heads of general affairs department, department heads, office heads, and lecturers from the National Institute of Education.The workshop took place in the Social Science Lecturer meeting room at the National Institute of Education from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. It featured a presentation by Dr. Phoeun Bunna, a specialist in child and adolescent clinical psychology and a psychotherapist.

The “Prioritize Mental Health at Workplace” workshop happened with the active participation, experience sharing, and discussions on mental health and workplace mental health issues from both management and participants. The workshop concluded on a positive and fruitful result, reflecting the strong engagement and support from the management team in promoting mental well-being for staff and students at the National Institute of Education. Additionally, it highlighted the commitment to the MENTALHIGH project, which actively raises awareness about mental health, particularly within the National Institute of Education.
