On August 10, 2025, the seminar “Understand Yourself – Take Care of Your Mental Health with Shining Mind,” was organized at Lecture Hall 101GK1 by Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration (TUEBA) in collaboration with the Building Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia (MentalHigh) Project. The program aimed to introduce and share about Shining Mind, a mental health care application developed as part of the project, funded by the European Union.
The MentalHigh Project involves several universities from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Europe, with the goal of creating a mentally healthy educational environment, helping students, lecturers, and staff proactively care for and improve their mental well-being

The highlight of the workshop was the presentation and hands-on experience of the Shining Mind app – a modern, convenient mental health care tool designed specifically for users in Vietnam and Cambodia. The app offers many useful features, including:
- News & A-Z: providing specialized articles and knowledge on mental health.
- Library: helpful documents, videos, and reference links.
- Diary: record and track daily emotional states.
- SOS: contact list of mental health care facilities in local areas.
- Quiz: self-assessment quizzes on knowledge and awareness of mental health.
Not only helping users “listen” to themselves, Shining Mind also acts as a “companion” – ready to provide knowledge, suggest solutions, and connect with timely support sources. With its multilingual interface (Vietnamese, English, Khmer) and user-friendly design, Shining Mind is accessible to all users, enabling them to proactively acquire knowledge, self-assess their mental state, and seek help when needed.

The seminar concluded with positive feedback from lecturers and guests. Many participants eagerly installed the app to begin their daily journey of “understanding and caring for themselves.” The organizers also encouraged users to join the online survey to share feedback, contributing to the improvement of Shining Mind and spreading the message: Mental health is the key to happiness and success, thereby enhancing the mental well-being of the university community.
