In anticipation of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), and to contribute to the physical and mental health of faculty and staff, the MentalHigh Project partnered with the Spring Sports Tournament 2026 of the General Affairs Department’s Labor Union, Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration. The sports event took place from January 28th to 29th, 2026, with two main competitions: Pickleball and Volleyball (men and women). These sports are suitable for a wide range of people, easily accessible, and help participants improve their physical fitness, relieve stress after work, and strengthen team spirit.

Sports events are meaningful activities that create a healthy playground, contributing to strengthening interaction and cohesion among departments, while also bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere before the new year. Through partnering with the event, MentalHigh hopes to spread the message that taking care of mental health begins with building an active lifestyle, balancing work, exercise, and social connection .

Pickleball matches were exciting and dramatic, attracting enthusiastic participation and support from a large number of staff and lecturers. Simultaneously, the recreational volleyball competition fostered a spirit of unity and joy, suitable for various age groups, contributing to the promotion of sportsmanship and regular physical fitness within the university.

MentalHigh Project’s partnership with the sports event not only demonstrates concern for the mental health of faculty and staff but also affirms the role of physical activities in stress prevention, improving quality of life, and enhancing work efficiency. It also provides an opportunity to spread the positive values of mental health care within the higher education environment.

The sports event celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 concluded in a joyful, united, and meaningful atmosphere, leaving many positive impressions on the participating staff and faculty. MentalHigh hopes to continue to partner with the University in meaningful activities in the future, working together to build a healthy, positive, and happy working environment.
