The first event in the “Mental Health Calendar” Calendar of HCMUSSH -VNU is talk show called “Don’t be shy”, which will be held for about 400 students from Faculty of Education, Cultural Studies, Tourism and Psychology in 20th of Octorber, 2024. Coming to the topic “Mental health issues of young people in the LGBTIQ+ community”, you will receive close sharing to heal the wounds of the soul from experienced psychologists . Along with that, we also hear stories that we confess for the first time to our families and society when we are members of the LGBTIQ+ community.
With the participation of guests with many years of experience accompanying LGBTI+ people’s mental health, the talk show ‘Don’t be shy’ is committed to bringing students knowledge about the LGBTIQ+ community and useful advice from leading psychologists. In addition, students will receive dedicated mental health care and advice, helping them feel more confident and comfortable in their university life.
“Don’t be shy” – a safe space for students to share and be listened to. The program is organized with the goal of taking care of the mental health of students, especially the LGBTI+ community. Listening to the sharing of guests with many years of experience accompanying the mental health of LGBTI+ people, we will together resolve concerns, relieve pressure and find peace of mind.
