On April 3, 2025, at the National Institute of Education (NIE), the Building Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia project, also known as MENTALHIGH, was delighted to organize a workshop on “Stress Management.”
The MENTALHIGH project had the special opportunity to participate in the Students’ Educational Research Exhibition for the second cohort of the Master of Education (M.Ed. +2) program. During this event, the project proudly showcased its initiatives to teacher trainees, teacher trainers, and the management team of NIE, aiming to promote greater mental health awareness and encourage stronger support for mental well-being, both individually and within their communities.
As part of the exhibition, MENTALHIGH conducted a dedicated workshop on stress management, featuring mental health screening tests, psychoeducation sessions, relaxation techniques, and appropriate referral guidance. Teacher trainees, teacher trainers, and management representatives enthusiastically visited the project booth, participated in mental health screenings, and actively engaged in the activities provided.
The workshop concluded successfully, filled with positivity and a strong sense of accomplishment. It clearly demonstrated the full support and commitment of the NIE management team toward promoting mental well-being among both staff and students.
