CBW #3 – MentalHigh at VUTED: Enhancing Mental Health Support Capacity for University Staff

As part of the Erasmus+ MentalHigh Project, on the afternoon of 23 October 2025, Vinh University of Technology Education (VUTED) organized its 3rd Capacity Building Workshop (CBW) to strengthen the mental health support skills of academic and administrative staff.

During the workshop, Ms. Cao Thi Huong, MentalHigh Project Coordinator at VUTED, presented the key outcomes achieved so far, including mental health assessments, the development of the Shining Mind and MoodCare digital platforms, and the implementation of CBWs for staff and MHC activities for students — gradually fostering a supportive mental health culture across campus.

CBW #3 focused on reviewing implementation results and proposing future directions to improve the early identification and support for students facing mental health challenges. The workshop emphasized the essential role of university leadership, advisors, and lecturers in creating an empathetic, stigma-free learning environment.

Participants provided feedback through a QR code evaluation and exchanged experiences during break-time interactions, helping reinforce motivation and collaboration for upcoming project activities.
