MENTALHIGH PROJECT ACCOMPANIES TUEBA’S STUDENT SPORTS FESTIVAL 2025: HEALTHY PHYSICS – STRONG MIND

Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration (TUEBA) Student Sports Festival is an annual activity of special significance, organized to create a healthy, useful and creative sports playground for students of the University. This is not only an opportunity to arouse the spirit of competition among students towards celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), but also an opportunity to promote the spirit of solidarity, bravery, will and aspiration of TUEBA youth. Through sports competitions, the Sports Festival contributes to improving physical strength, training personality, teamwork skills and promoting the movement “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho” among students. At the same time, the event also creates conditions for students to exchange and expand connections with students from high schools in the province, affirming the role of sports in connecting the community and developing people comprehensively.

Accompanying the Sports Festival this year is the MentalHigh Project (Buidling Mental Health Capacity at Higher Education Institutes in Southest Asia), funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program. Through this large-scale sports event, MentalHigh not only supports the organization, but also integrates many communication and consulting activities to:

– Encourage students to exercise physically while taking care of their mental health;

– Create an environment for communication, connection, enhancing team spirit and cohesion in the student community;

– Raise awareness of mental health, provide practical knowledge on stress management in study and life;

– Convey the message about the importance of mental health naturally and effectively through sports activities and direct interactions.
